Patent Flow is live: invention to filing-ready in one guided workspace

Patent Flow brings every stage of a patent matter into one connected workflow, from the first upload to a filing-ready package.

For years, AI drafting tools have focused on one moment in a matter: turning a disclosure into text. Paximal started there too, and our drafts earned a reputation for being complete, consistent and Born Strong. But drafting is only one part of the work. Before it, teams decide what is worth protecting. After it, they proofread, review with attorneys and inventors, incorporate feedback and prepare the filing. Patent Flow connects all of it.

Patent Flow is organized as a series of stages. You start by uploading what you already have: invention disclosures, specifications, design documents, source excerpts, diagrams, decks or lab notes. Paximal can optionally turn those materials into a formal invention disclosure form, pausing at checkpoints to ask you rather than guess.

Next come the analyses. You can run any of four before you draft: Novelty, using prior art from your own references or Paximal’s search; Detectability; Business Value for a named company; and Prosecution Analysis, available to users with a Juristat subscription. Each one returns a report you can attach to the draft, and any of them can be skipped.

Then Paximal drafts the full application with figures and a rapid-review summary, pausing for alignment on the target for protection, the claims and the figures. You stay in control at the decision points, answering in plain language with no prompting required.

Review is built into the flow rather than bolted on. Proofreading produces redline and clean copies. Attorney Review and Inventor Review are stages of their own, with feedback recorded against a specific revision and applied automatically. Every pass is tracked, so you always know what changed and why. Secure sharing directly with inventors is coming.

Filing is next. The filing package, approvals with S-signatures and hand-off to filing and docketing are the stages we are building now, so a matter can move from disclosure to the USPTO without leaving the flow.

Patent Flow runs in the Paximal app, and it can also be driven from the AI assistant you already use. The Paximal MCP server now covers the whole flow, so teams working in Claude or Perplexity Computer can start a matter, run analyses, draft and review without switching tools. Sign in to get your MCP key; it’s free for USPTO-registered practitioners.

Everything in Patent Flow runs under the same security posture as the rest of Paximal: SOC 2 certified, U.S. data residency, no training on customer data and isolation from other customers. Attorneys remain in control at every stage.

Patent Flow is available today. USPTO-registered practitioners can start free, or schedule a demo to see a matter move from disclosure to filing-ready in one flow.
